Made from urban salvaged American Black Walnut with contrasting accentual pieces, this jewelry box is like none on the market. When opened, they will see their new finger-friend shining in all its glory in the foreground of a personalized message designed by you and I. Furthermore, the top of the box has a hidden feature: a topper with a strong magnet that is easily removable to reveal a private message of your choosing. Rigid in function, graceful in design, your partner will have this beautiful keepsake from your special day for (hopefully!) as long as they have their ring! After your engagement, they can keep a ring of their choosing inside the box, extending its usefulness to perpetuity. Finished with a house-made oil mixture and hand-rubbed with a melted beezewax mixture, this box gives off a very unique sheen.

I designed this box for my own fiance, (now wife by the time you read this description!) After more than a few failures and a serious deadline, I made the carcass of this box, and kept adding features until it reached its final form. Now, jewelers all around Upstate NY carry my ring box, and now you can order yours, too.

I spared no expense in ensuring this box will last a lifetime. Brass barrel hinges ensure the box closes absolutely square, and 1/8" neodymium magnets offer a satisfying "snap!" everytime you close the box or its secret compartment. Inlaid on every box front is 100% abalone inlaid in brass so you know which side opens because there's no ugly hinges or handles!

You will be asked during checkout to write what message/art you want engraved on both lids. Don’t worry - I’ll send you a proof for your approval prior to engraving!

Made of laminated solid American Walnut, this is the first flower press you should have had, and the last you’ll ever need. I made the first prototype for a professional florist, and she got back to me with a pretty bad review. No worries; we worked together to make the final evolved version in the best way we knew how.

You’ll be able to fit a printer-sized sheet of paper in between the posts. This guy boasts 6” of clearance so you’ll be able to press an awful lot of flowers. I buy raw steel rod and cut to shape, as well as epoxy heavy duty t-nuts into the base so you can take apart/put back together as many times as you need. Thats right - this guy comes apart and travels with you, simply unthread the posts.

As this is made for the hobbyist and professional alike, this will ship with a care package: wood oil that you can apply yourself to protect and freshen up as you use it, and wood wax to keep it soft and improve tactile feel.

Pictured here is a unit being used by a professional, and we engraved her logo on the top. We can engrave yours, too! If you choose no engraving, it will ship with my logo on it, unless you’d prefer it to be bare bones.
